Here is my second submission to the August's Formula challenge will be the Gaussian Journey challenge!
For this challenge, you are free to use any basic fractal formula, but for colouring (both Inside and Outside) you are limited to any algorithm that has "Gaussian" in its name. Mappings are subject to the same restriction, meaning that they are banned if none of them has Gaussian in its name (I haven't checked).
I made this fractal in the UltraFractal program. Here are my parameters, which anyone is free to tweak.
