Inside the Sunflower Galaxy

August's Formula challenge will be the Gaussian Journey challenge!

For this challenge, you are free to use any basic fractal formula, but for colouring (both Inside and Outside) you are limited to any algorithm that has "Gaussian" in its name. Mappings are subject to the same restriction, meaning that they are banned if none of them has Gaussian in its name (I haven't checked).

I did check in Mapping (Public Formulas) but didn’t see any with “Gaussian” in their name.  I could have missed one, of course.

In the Outside Coloring, mde and mde3 have one formula each with the word “Gauss”.  Of course I am presuming that “Gauss” in the name is permitted, it being a Gaussian formula.
