August 2016 Challenge - Panoramic Aspect PANORAMIC ASPECT CHALLENGEthere is an Ultra Fractal Challenge which states:
Hello UF users!
Wow, it's the start of August already and time to wrap up the old challenge and set you a new one. You all did very well with the Klein Festival challenge with lots of parameter exploring evident which was excellent. I rather think you all enjoyed the Klein formulas very much, I know I did! Well done all of you!
For August we have a relatively simple challenge for you - we would like you to create some Panoramic aspect images. For this you will have to look carefully at the dimensions of your images, they must be at least twice as wide as they are tall. So long and thin is the name of the game here and in a landscape orientation NOT vertical, portrait style. Examples of acceptable dimensions would be:
800px wide x 350px high, 1000w x 500h, 1200w x 500h, 1920w x 960h.
As for subject matter and style that is completely up to you! You may like

August and September 2016 Fractal Formula ForaysFor the August 2016 Fractal Formula Foray, which actually opened in July, follow these steps in the Ultra Fractal program:there are two challenges, or forays into formula exploration, one for August 2016 and one for September 2016, each with their own rules, and each open for submissions. I made this fractal following the September 2016 rules.
Open the Public Formula found in dac.ufm: 15x15. On at least one layer, use the Outside coloring formula mt.ucl “Patterns”. My Farmlands is a very simple fractal using this .ufm and this .ucl. However, this combination has lots of possibilities when more steps are taken.
For the September 2016 Fractal Formula Foray:
start with tma.ufm “Dragon Atom 01z”. It’s on the top row.
There should be a black area. Use the “Select-Mode” tool (the rectangle next to the little white arrow at the top). Select an entirely black area and then go to the “Fractal” tab and zoom in. Everything will still be black.
Go to the inside-coloring tab. Click on the Browse button to get the Public Formula list. Near the top is mt.ucl. Open that. Choose the first ch
